Terms of Service

By accessing or using prœmise ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

prœmise records particular promises, scoped statements, human responses and private supporting material. People choose commitments and confirm outcomes. A checklist, image, fingerprint or AI response does not establish real-world fulfillment.

To use certain features, you must create an account using your email address or Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate information
• Maintaining the security of your account
• All activity that occurs under your account

You agree not to use prœmise to:

• Create promises that are illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
• Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Upload obscene, offensive, or inappropriate images
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' accounts
• Use automated systems to access the service without permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the service

You retain ownership of content you create on prœmise (promise text, notes, photos). By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and process it as necessary to provide the service.

Seven processes only material you expressly select for that operation. Recipient disclosure requires a separate choice. We do not use your content for advertising or sell it to third parties.

prœmise offers optional Seven clarification and limited reviews. AI drafts are private until you approve words to share; AI cannot perform human actions or confirm an outcome. AI-generated content is provided as-is and should not be relied upon as legal, financial, or professional advice. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content.

A private invitation requires verification of the intended email. Receiving does not require membership, installation or an undertaking. A person may view the permitted details, respond, decline or remain silent. We never turn promise histories into judgments, trust scores, rankings or social labels about people, even when requested with permission.

You may delete account access and private material through Settings on web or iPhone. Shared words and human events may remain with the other participant. Private-file access is revoked immediately; physical deletion runs through a retryable cleanup process. Provider backups and private recovery archives may retain earlier data. The prœmise name, logo, design, and code are the property of prœmise. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without written permission.

prœmise is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Promises created on this platform are personal commitments between individuals. prœmise is not a legally binding contract service and does not enforce or guarantee the fulfillment of any promise.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, prœmise and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service.

We may suspend or terminate your access to prœmise at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of prœmise after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email.

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
